Friskney Show June 2015
Although we missed the rain, it was a very cool wind blowing through our new all-singing, all-dancing white gazebo, a very impressive beast and so much easier to erect. The quality build should give us good service well into the future.

Pauline had done us proud again with her 'Wild West 'display and although we didn't win this year, we must have come close!
WI Centenary Celebrations : Celebrating 100 years of the Women's Institute
The Women's Institute is 100 years old this year and Friskney WI chose to share their own celebrations with the villagers and school children of Friskney, by organising a FRISKNEY VILLAGE PICNIC on Sunday afternoon, July 12th 2015
Lots of fun, prize games, races, competitions, free food and drink for the children, as well as face painting and story telling. The afternoon finished with a magic show from Mister Paul.
Margaret Parker had spoken with several local businesses to see if they would be able to donate a prize for the raffles, and was astounded at their generosity. Friskney WI would like to say a huge thank you to:
Skegness Natureland
Bateman's brewery in Wainfleet
The Anchor Inn, Friskney
Lincoln Castle

WI Members decided that all money raised during the event would be donated back into the community.
As a result, £120 was shared equally between Friskney Primary School PTA and Friskney Parish Church, and two cheques, each for £60 were presented to both school and church representatives at Friskney WI's July meeting.
